10 Years Since the Tech Bubble Burst.
It’s been 10 years since the tech bubble burst. I was living in South Park San Francisco when it happened. It was a stunning transformation from boom town to depressionville. While the rest of the country was starting on a housing bubble, South Park became full of for rent signs. Just look at the NASDAQ graph for the last ten years…we’re 58% down from those heady days. The December before it happened, I remember following the blog of somebody who was going to lavish corporate parties every night of month.
