Be a step ahead of the New York Soda pop tax. The government is proposing a penny an ounce tax on soda, which they say will raise 1 billion dollars in revenue a year and backers say the levy also would help reduce obesity.
This would amount to 64 cents extra per plastic gallon jug of soda and put pop in the realm of other healthier drinks. But how to convert the children?
